Russia’s Lukoil gets offer to take part in Bashneft privatization

MOSCOW, Jul 20 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Lukoil has received a proposal to participate in privatization of oil company Bashneft from a consultant of the deal VTB Capital, a representative of the company told PRIME on Wednesday.

“We have received the proposal, we are studying it,” he said.

Media reported earlier that VTB Capital had sent a letter offering to participate in privatization of Bashneft to several large Russian and foreign companies, and investment funds.
